AmeriCare Services offers several categories of Quality Improvement opportunities. They include:

 

Quality Improvement Coordinator

Minimum Qualifications Current/valid Pennsylvania Nursing License, or equivalent alternative Pennsylvania professional licensure to be determined by the Department of Public Welfare. Minimum three (3) years professional clinical experience. Minimum (2) years quality improvement experience in multi-faceted formal quality management program. Computer expertise including a working knowledge of word processing functions, and data base utilization, maintenance and management. Role Description: Participates in analysis of Quality Management Program reports, with recommendations for corrective actions. Performs Quality Management reviews, coordinates, and manages other staff in doing audits. Provides leadership and in-service training for medical and non-medical staff relating to Quality Management, audit methodologies and related plans of correction. Liaison and coordinator with physicians and nurses to implement/support Quality Management Program. Maintain and upgrade skills by attending meetings, training sessions, and seminars and by reviewing current literature. Participates in committee assignments as necessary. ..apply for job..

Quality Improvement Information Specialist

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor�s degree or equivalent. Significant experience managing input and manipulation of information using information systems and data management software.

Role Description

Full-time on-site liaison with contractor and department�s staff who works with development and implementation of a variety of Information Systems as part of Contractor�s Clinical Information System development and support team. Performs on-going technical maintenance of Bureau�s Quality Management Program including implementation. Coordinates data entry into a variety of information systems. Provides analysis of information and implements reports from information systems to support the Quality Management Program. Liaison with contractor�s Clinical Information System development and support team. Maintain and upgrade skills by attending meetings, training sessions, and seminars and by reviewing current literature.

Quality Improvement Director

Minimum Qualifications

Master�s Degree in Health Services Administration or equivalent field or equivalent experience to be determined by the Department of Public Welfare. Minimum of three (3) years quality management experience in a multi � faceted formal quality management program. Computer expertise including a working knowledge of database utilization, maintenance and management.

Role Description

Liaison with contractor�s corporate Quality Improvement Team. Liaison with facility management to implement/support organization�s framework for Quality Management. Lead responsibility for implementation and maintenance of the worksite�s Quality Management Program. Advises Facility Director in all aspects of quality management issues, including quality planning, quality control and measurement activities and quality improvement initiatives. Maintain and upgrade skills by attending meetings, training sessions, and seminars and by reviewing current literature. Fulfill Committee assignments including the Quality Improvement Council, the Risk Management Committee and any others as assigned.

Americare Services signs up as sponsor for USA 1359 Team Shifty as they compete in the 2010 J/24 National Championship being held in Marblehead, MA September 17-19, 2010. The winner qualifies for the 2011 J/24 World Championship in Argentina.
